Our first delivery was to Steve Murphy on the Gold Coast who paddled away very happy with his purchase.
Next was a couple of canoes in Cornulla to Karl & Stewert. Karl raced his canoe that day in the Pacifica Ocean paddling Club Winter Warm up 8km. Karl was the first to start the ball rolling with a great result. With conditions looking good for a warm sunny day it soon turned nasty with a hail storm hitting the paddlers as they finished the race.
Karl finished 4th over all in the OC1 division and 2nd in his 40+ Mens OC1 Division - great work Karl.
Also spotted was Andy from Paddles using on of our Kia Kaha Hybrid Paddles during the race.
In total 3 Hiko Canoes have gone down Sydney way so keep an eye out for them at the next Pacifica Ocean Paddle Club Race.
Closer to home we had a good turn out with 4 canoes being race at the SEQ OC1 Series Races at Mooloolaba. The Short Course saw 4 SUP paddlers sit down and take a relaxing paddle around a 8km course. Paul Jackson who is heading over to Germany at the end of this week ended up 3rd on a Kia Kaha Hiko canoe & SUP paddling mates Steve & Steve did well and finished their first OC1 race.

In the SEQ Series Race Long course - Moffats to Mooloolaba saw New up and comer Nick Dennis take out the Kia Kaha Wainui - Nick is a new member to the Kia Kaha Australian Team. Nick raced well to come in just in front of Woogie for 4th & 5th Places.

Woogie closest to the support boat getting a good run off the start
In the Juniors we had our son Taj represent the Kia Kaha team. With the wind blowing Taj only made it half way before turning around and heading back to the start line.
